🤖 3 weeks with Gemini 3, "Vibe Coding" for kids, & Holiday Magic

Forget syntax. Learn how to build a game just by describing it.

The Rundown: AI News You Can Use

  • Gemini 3 Pro: The Verdict: It’s been three weeks since Google dropped Gemini 3 Pro, and the "Deep Think" mode is the standout feature. It doesn't just answer; it reasons through family logistics—like planning a multi-stop vacation itinerary that actually respects nap times. We've got our upcoming trip to Orlando all planned with the help of Gemini.
  • Project Astra Rolling Out: Access to Project Astra—Google's "universal assistant" that sees what you see—is expanding. Users are reporting they can point their camera at a math worksheet and get verbal, tutor-like guidance rather than just an answer key.
  • The Rise of "Vibe Coding": The biggest shift isn't learning Python; it's "Vibe Coding." This means building software just by describing how you want it to look and feel using these new, smarter models.

English is the New Code

When I was a kid, the idea of "building a game" was confined to board games or memorizing cheat codes.

Today, the barrier to entry has collapsed. We used to ask, "How do I write this code?" Now, we simply ask, "What do I want to create?".

This isn't about turning every child into a software engineer. It’s about teaching them that if they can articulate an idea, they can build it. This week, we aren't dragging blocks. We are going to speak a game into existence.

🚀 The 20-Minute "Vibe Code" Challenge

Your Goal: Create a fully playable browser game without writing a single line of code yourself.
Time: 20 Minutes.
Tools:Google AI Studio (Free & uses the new Gemini 3 models).

The Strategy:
We are using a technique called "Vibe Coding." You describe the vibe and logic; the AI handles the syntax.

Step 1: The Setup
Go to Google AI Studio and log in. Select the Gemini 3 Pro model on the right.

Step 2: The Prompt
Sit with your child and ask them: "What should happen in our game?". Then, type this into the prompt box (feel free to tweak the details!):

"Write a single-file HTML game called 'Santa's Sleigh Dash.' You play as a sleigh at the bottom moving left/right with arrow keys. You have to catch falling presents to gain points, but avoid the falling lumps of coal. If you hit coal, it's Game Over. Make the background a dark blue snowy night sky. Give me the complete code in one block."

Step 3: The Magic
Gemini will spit out a block of code.

  1. Copy the code.
  2. Paste it into a free viewer like htmledit.squarefree.com (or save it as .html on your desktop).
  3. Play it immediately.

Step 4: The Iteration (The Real Learning)
Is the game too hard? Too ugly? Go back to Gemini and say:
"Make the presents fall faster every time I get 10 points, and make the coal look like red rocks."

This teaches your child the most valuable skill of the AI era: Iterative Logic.

🎤 Ready to Make 2026 Your Breakthrough Year?

Join Me at the Goal Achievers Summit — Orlando, Dec 29-30!

Most resolutions fail by February because they lack a system. This isn’t just another conference; it’s a launchpad for parents and professionals ready to architect an exceptional 2026.

I will be speaking specifically on "AI for the Family Unit," where I’ll reveal:

  • The "KIDSAFE" Prompting Checklist: My proprietary framework to ensure your kids get great results from AI (like the game above!) without over-sharing personal data.
  • Family Goal Architecture: How to use AI to set, track, and actually achieve audacious family goals.
  • Productivity Hacks: Automate the boring stuff so you can spend more time on the fun stuff.

Don't let another year slip by.

Your Next Step

Open Google AI Studio on your browser right now and bookmark it. Then, grab your kid (or your spouse!) tonight and ask them: "If you could build any video game in 5 minutes, what would it be?"

Let's build the future, one prompt at a time.
